Welcome to the website for the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science-Utah (ASCLS-Utah). ASCLS-Utah is the Utah chapter of the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS). Our purpose is to promote the educational, economic, and social interests of our members. Utah joins together with Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado to make up Region VIII of ASCLS. ASCLS-Utah would like to announce the first ASCLS-Utah Education Opportunity. The first session will be a Phlebotomy Panel Discussion, held at ARUP Laboratories, Wednesday, November 5 from 6 pm to 8 pm (cost is $10 which includes a light dinner). We would like to encourage anyone interested in phlebotomy to attend (members and non-members). Click here for more information. There will be another opportunity in in late November or early December. Genetics is the intended topic. ASCLS-Utah was proud to host the Intermountain States Seminar (IMSS) on Sept. 18th-20th, 2008. ASCLS-UT, together with CLMA and ASCP held the annual Spring Seminar on April 3rd and 4th at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City. The conference consisted of wonderful speakers, exhibitors and activities. We would like to thank all of those that contributed to make the conference a great success. We would like to congratulate the follow individuals that received awards during Spring Seminar.
